We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our imaging team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology.

What You’ll Do

As a CT Technologist, you will :

  • Perform CT scans of all body regions following established protocols and radiologist direction.
  • Obtain and document relevant clinical history to support accurate interpretation.
  • Start IVs and administer contrast media safely, assessing patient condition and allergies.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and families, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
  • Practice sterile techniques and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions.
  • Accurately track exams using the Radiology Information System and ensure timely upload to PACS.
  • Assist with quality control and accreditation processes.
  • Train and orient new staff, students, and job shadows.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education : Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.
  • Certification : ARRT certification and Indiana State Board of Health license required.
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 months on-the-job CT training; prior CT experience preferred.
  • Skills : Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient positioning, and CT protocols. Excellent communication and computer skills.

    • Working Conditions

  • Clinical environment with exposure to radiation; protective gear required.
  • Must wear film badge and adhere to strict safety standards.

    • Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk / stand for extended periods, push equipment up to 50 lbs, and lift patients (up to 35 lbs unassisted).
  • Must be able to perform CPR and respond to emergencies.
