We are seeking a medical assistant for a busy primary care office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task, have good time keeping skills, be a team player and have a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities :

• Taking patient vital signs including manual BP, pulse, heart rate and temperature
• Assisting providers with exams and procedures
• Performing EKG, phlebotomy and other essential laboratory procedures
• Checking patients in and out upon arrival and departure
• Preparing patients for physical examinations
• Answering phone calls
• Updating and maintaining electronic health records (EHR)
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance

Qualifications :

34 hours per week base, option for additional hours if desired.

Hourly rate commensurate with experience.

Benefits negotiable after 3 month period of mutual assessment

Continuing medical education encouraged
