Lead Systems Analyst- JDE
Direct Hire : Pierce Mfg / Oshkosh Vocational
Fully onsite : Dodge Center, MN (candidates in Rochester, MN may be a good fit as this is a more metro / appealing area to reside)
Occasional Travel : Riceville, IA (usually same day trips) and Murfreesboro, TN (more occasional / travel potential for support)
Bonus structure : 10% target, but has historically paid 17.3%-20% (up to 200% of target)

The Lead JDE Systems Analyst will work with functional owners in our manufacturing, engineering, product data management (PDM), sales (configurator), cost accounting, supply chain, and materials areas to design and implement efficient and sound business processes. The Lead Business Analyst role performs the duty of business relationship manager, liaison to the development / technical team, and functional users, gathers business requirements, performs analysis of the requirements, defines and develops solutions, and on occasion will lead project plan development and leading of the project team. The McNeilus team is highly collaborative, and this position will present the opportunity to mentor and develop junior / entry level team members in all areas of being a business analyst.
This role is fully onsite in Dodge Center, MN. Many people choose to live in nearby Rochester, MN.

Core Technical Requirements
o Must understand manufacturing processes deeply.
o Familiarity with work orders, bills of materials, product data management (PDM), cost accounting, and shop floor execution.
o Candidates who only know JDE but not manufacturing will not be considered.
o Must understand the technical capabilities of JDE, not just the business side.
o They should know how to translate requirements into functional / technical specs, use OMW (Object Management Workbench), configure versions, manage menus, and define processing options and data selections.
o Strong familiarity with configurator functionality is a major plus.
o Experience with or willingness to learn edge systems (MES, CPQ, DSI, Jagger, Reliance QMS, Smart Team, SolidWorks).
2. Must-Have Business Context
o Heavy or complex manufacturing preferred.
o Ideally experience in multi-site manufacturing environments.
o Understands make-to-order and configured-to-order production models.
o Familiar with change management (CN) processes and how product changes mid-run can impact BOMs and cost.
o Ability to learn and support integrations with various manufacturing edge systems (CPQ, MES, etc.).

3. Ideal Candidate Traits
MUST HAVES :
JD Edwards 9.2 or 8.12 experience
Manufacturing industry experience
Work orders, BOMs, PDM, MRP, and cost accounting
Functional / technical spec writing
OMW, version control, processing options, security
Leadership / project experience (no direct reports)
Willingness to relocate / live in Dodge Center / Rochester
Strong Plus :
