Job Title
This position supports enterprise security and compliance program initiatives for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, System Security Risk and Compliance Section.
This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of SRC strategic objectives and business processes related to the delivery of security risk and compliance services. This position provides information and recommendations to SRC management and executive leaders for increased service delivery, program efficiency and areas for improvement concerning enterprise security and compliance. This position ensures SRC centralized service delivery methods are consistent with OCTO's Business Aligned Strategic Initiative and Multi-Year Business Plan and is lead on all SRC Key Performance Objectives (KPOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including compiling and interpreting program data to identify trends. This position provides support to other staff as lead of SRC operational engagement activities and initiatives, performing advanced data analysis and metric review to resolve or minimize issues impacting IT infrastructure. This position is point of contact and lead responsible for maintaining, implementing, and / or evaluating service area training, SRC communication plans, operational documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure program quality, productivity, and adherence to service level agreements and department policy. This position also is responsible for participating in special projects, delivering presentations, attending meetings, and assisting operational staff in resolving program issues to mitigate risk. This position facilitates and leads continuous improvement workgroups, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, compliance governance boards and core teams, in support of SRC centralized service delivery and efficiency. This position interprets regulatory frameworks, laws, policies and other regulations to ensure section services are delivered appropriately, consistently and efficiently.
The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
