Human Resources Specialist II (Onsite) – Monday to Friday – 8 : 00 / 8 : 30 AM Start

Schedule : Monday - Friday, starting at 8 : 00 or 8 : 30 AM

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Specialist II to support our HR Manager and HR Business Partner (HRBP) in driving local HR initiatives and supporting company-wide programs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in finance or payroll looking to further their career in Human Resources.

The ideal candidate has 2-3+ years of HR experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent foot traffic, and is comfortable handling sensitive administrative tasks such as taking notes during investigations and submitting HR Ops tickets.

Key Responsibilities :

Support the implementation of local and corporate HR initiatives

Execute core HR processes such as :

New hire orientation & onboarding

Unemployment claims processing

Exit interviews

Leave administration

OSHA reporting

Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on HR policies and procedures

Submit tickets to HR Operations and assist in resolving issues

Take detailed notes during HR investigations

Maintain and support the timekeeping system (eTime) and assist with payroll-related tasks

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring managers with staffing needs

Contribute to programs that enhance employee engagement and workplace culture

Qualifications :

• 2-3+ years of Human Resources experience required
• Strong background in administrative tasks and employee-facing support
• Prior experience in payroll processing or A / P or A / R is a plus
• Associate degree (2-year) accepted; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Preferred majors : Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
• Previous finance experience and interest in pivoting into an HR role is welcomed
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working onsite with frequent in-person interactions
• Workday experience is a major plus
