About The Position We are seeking a Family Practice Physician with pediatric experience for a 21-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity starts on Oct 15, 2025, and provides vacation coverage with day shifts between 10am-3pm or 11am-4pm. The physician will see patients from newborns to age 18, focusing on acute and wellness care. Job Details Location : Indiana Start Date : Oct 15, 2025 LOA : 21 days Provider Type Needed : Family Practice Physician Schedule : 10am-3pm or 11am-4pm; vacation coverage on Oct 15-29, 2025, Dec 1-5, 2025, and Jan 5-9, 2026 Responsibilities and Duties Provide care for acute pediatric cases such as cold, cough, flu, and COVID Conduct diagnostic tests including RSV and strep testing Perform wellness exams, sick visits, and weight checks for newborns and children Manage neonatal cases and conduct newborn well visits Be available for occasional after-hours patient communication via Spruce platform Additional Information Must hold an active Indiana medical license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience and comfort in seeing patients from newborn to 18 years old Newborn follow-ups will be scheduled with the returning medical director Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
