Responsibilities We are looking for a child & adolescent psychiatrist for Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Center. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights : This is a Behavioral Health Facility with a full continuum of care for adults and adolescents 8 Bed Adolescent Inpatient unit, 15 Bed Adolescent Residential Program and a Day School Program Adolescent IOP and traditional outpatient clinic for children, adolescents and adults Also provide Adult Inpatient, IOP and traditional outpatient for mental health and addiction Responsibilities : Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration : Physician MD / DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Education : Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
