Our construction division, Washington Construction, specializes in residential and light commercial remodeling, renovations, and additions with a focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction & Remodeling Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in preparing accurate bids, ensuring profitability, and supporting our growth in the construction and remodeling market.

What You’ll Do

Review project plans, specifications, and customer requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and light commercial remodeling projects (kitchens, bathrooms, additions, tenant improvements, etc.).

Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and take measurements.

Create material takeoffs, labor breakdowns, and subcontractor cost comparisons.

Solicit, review, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotes.

Develop written proposals and present them to clients in a clear, professional manner.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with field execution.

Track costs and adjust estimating strategies based on project performance.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience required : Minimum 3 years in construction estimating (remodeling, residential, or light commercial).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and remodeling processes.

Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office (Excel required).

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
