Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in New York, requiring NY licensure and advanced fetal monitoring certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 9 labor beds, 6 triage beds, and 3 PACU beds
  • Handles approximately 2,500 deliveries annually
  • Night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Care for laboring, high-risk OB, and post-anesthesia patients
  • OR circulating duties for C-sections and PACU / recovery room coverage
  • Will be required to complete hospital-specific modules prior to starting the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within a 60 mile radius
  • Candidates with prior employment at certain facilities may require additional review and processing time
  • Candidates must provide current certifications and proof of renewal if any are expiring during the assignment period
  • Team-oriented environment supporting labor, delivery, and post-anesthesia care

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active NY RN license required
  • Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification required
  • 2 or more recent professional references from prior managers or higher in Labor & Delivery
  • Recent experience in Labor & Delivery, OR circulating for C-sections, and PACU / recovery
  • 3+ years recent L&D and high-risk OB experience preferred
