job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Level 1 Monitoring Center Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a monitoring center environment, a fundamental understanding of technology, and experience with cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. This role is responsible for ensuring the continuous monitoring of critical systems across on-premises and cloud infrastructures and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to maintain optimal system performance Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications from various platforms, including cloud environments (Azure, AWS), network, applications, servers, and databases Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic technical issues related to system performance, connectivity, and cloud resources Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical team or senior analyst Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, including steps taken, resolutions, and any follow-up actions required Perform routine checks and reports on system health and performance, focusing on both on-premises and cloud-based systems Provide first-level support for clients and end-users, troubleshooting issues through phone, email, or ticketing systems Assist in maintaining the integrity and availability of critical systems by responding to alerts and performing preventive tasks, including those within cloud platforms like Azure and AWS Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve incident response times and overall operational efficiency Maintain knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies in monitoring, especially in cloud environments like Azure and AWS, to ensure continual improvement
Monitoring Center Analyst
Evansville, IN or Baltimore, MD - HYBRID
- Position is HYBRID, onsite 3 days per week Tuesday through Thursday
- Candidates must live within 50 miles of corporate offices in Evansville, IN or Baltimore, MD
- Potential for extension or conversion to FTE
- Key Skills : Monitoring, Observability, L1 work, experience with data analysis
