Post Acute Care Medical Director Opening in North Carolina Located in Greenville, NC - Raleigh 86m Full-time Monday - Friday Day-time, Flexible Hours No primary night call $175,400 - $302,00 Estimated annual amount which includes a monthly medical director stipend, productivity pay for a minimum of 20 encounters per day (paid bi-weekly). Signing bonus available with a 2 year commitment. Medical, dental, vision benefits package with 401k retirement and extender options Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage Responsibilities Provide oversight and mentorship to our clinicians in the greater Greenville, North Carolina, area Conduct clinical case reviews, share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care Provide clear communication with clinicians, facility leaders and staff regarding care and services for enrollees Collaborate with leadership to review care coordination initiatives Develop intervention plans, and share ideas about network management issue Work alongside pharmacists on medication management Complete Medicare required visits Complete acute, follow up, and discharge visits as necessary Implement an individualized plan of care for patients' goals Make recommendations on transitional care, DME, home health services, or outpatient services after short stay Facilitate and assist leadership in quality improvement initiatives and risk management Timely response in chart completions and pharmacy recommendations Requirements Reside within a reasonable daily commute to Greenville and New Bern, NC Clinical Leadership Experience Relevant clinical experience treating patients within the last 12 months Active / Unrestricted NC Medical License, DEA, Medicare, and Medicaid provider numbersNot far from North Carolina's coast, Greenville is a small city along the Tar River, widely recognized as the thriving cultural, educational, economic and medical hub of Eastern North Carolina.
