Workday Workday Consultant (HRIS)
Location : New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration : 12-month contract (possibilities of extension, or conversion)
We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to join our Human Capital team on a 1-year contract. This role will support system-related initiatives and ongoing administration of the firm's HR technology, including Workday, Greenhouse, and other HR tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday configurations, system upgrades, reporting, and integrations, and will be comfortable collaborating across HR functions to deliver solutions that align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for Workday HCM, benefits, absence, reporting, and related HR systems.
- Maintain system-related aspects of Human Capital processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with configuration changes, system upgrades, integrations, and scheduled audits.
- Partner on new system implementations and functionality enhancements, from requirements gathering to testing.
- Develop and maintain training materials; support user adoption and resolve system inquiries.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Qualifications
3–5 years of HRIS / Workday experience, including configuration, testing, and maintenance.Strong background in HR technology implementation and operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with HR systems such as Greenhouse.Understanding of HR compliance requirements and industry best practices.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Consulting experience is a plus."
