Schedule : Full-Time

Chesterton Manor is seeking an experienced  Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department at our skilled nursing facility. We’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and organized leader who can oversee clinical operations, ensure quality care, and support our nursing staff in delivering excellence every day.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct the overall operation of the nursing department, ensuring high standards of resident care.

Assign and supervise nursing staff to meet resident needs.

Monitor care delivery and follow up on results to ensure quality outcomes.

Communicate significant changes in resident conditions to physicians and family / responsible parties.

Foster a positive environment for staff, residents, and their families.

Serve as a resource for residents, families, and care teams with clinical information and support.

Qualifications :

Active RN license in the state of Indiana.

At least 1 year of nurse leadership experience (DON or ADON) in a long-term care setting.

Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing homes.

Experience working with geriatric populations preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
