About The Position

Job Title : Radiology Tech

Profession : Radiology Tech

Specialty : Ray Tech

Duration : 17 Weeks

Shift : 3p - 11 : 30p every other weekend

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year

License : Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.

Certifications : Healthcare Provider certification required (BLS).

Must-Have : High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

Description :

Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.

May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.

Performs related duties as required.

Schedule includes working 5 days a week during the designated shift.

No on-call duties are required.

Familiarity with technology such as GE, OEC - C-arms, and Carestream Portables is preferred.

This position will provide opportunities for skills enhancement in the diagnostic radiology field.
