Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating press brake machines and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure precision and quality in metal fabrication. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with various machining processes.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and production requirements.

Perform quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues.

Collaborate with team members in the assembly process, ensuring all components meet quality standards.

Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for various manufacturing tasks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience operating press brake machines is essential.

Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutting, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining is highly desirable.

Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus.

Experience with welding, tooling, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly processes will be beneficial.

Strong mechanical knowledge along with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
