Key Responsibilities
Conduct intake interviews (phone / email / online forms).
Gather detailed information about potential legal issues (e.g., wage violations, discrimination, wrongful termination).Identify if the case fits within current class action criteria or firm’s focus areas.Case Assessment :Use checklists or firm criteria to determine if a potential client qualifies.
Escalate viable leads to attorneys or case managers.Data Entry & Record Keeping :Accurately input client details into the firm’s CRM or case management software
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity.Communication :Act as a liaison between clients and legal teams.
Provide follow-up updates or gather additional information when needed.Communicate empathetically with potential clients who may be experiencing stress or trauma.Compliance :Follow firm procedures and legal regulations (e.g., ethics rules on legal advice vs. legal information).
Ideal Skills & Qualifications
Must have Employment Law experience and experience with Law Ruler
Legal knowledge of employment law issues (e.g., FLSA, Title VII, ADA) and / or class action procedures.Strong communication and empathy , especially in sensitive employment-related matters.Familiarity with legal intake software and CRMs.Organizational skills and the ability to handle high call / email volume.Bilingual (often preferred, depending on firm demographics).
