Fire Emergency Training Academy Assistant
The mission of the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal is to uphold the law and provide for the protection of life and property from the hazards of fire or explosion, to ensure the safety of our citizens in the constructed environment, to provide equal access to disabled individuals, and to promote the efficient use of energy in commercial buildings. This position is located in the Fire Emergency Training Academy (FETA) in Baton Rouge. In this role, you will assist with the daily operations of the business office. This may include purchasing, expense reports, deposits, and quality control. The incumbent will also enforce the records retention policy.
Selected core competencies :
Minimum qualifications :
Three years of experience in administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION : Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
