Performs all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures.

Responsibilities
Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials neededPerforms tire replacement or minor maintenance servicesInstalls valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as requiredTest tire balances to ensure proper weight placementPerforms short road test to ensure proper installationReviews service with customerComplies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulationsDesired Qualifications
High school graduate, comparable vocational training or 6 months of tire technician experienceMust have knowledge of non-technical tire and auto service processes and procedures. Knowledge of systems software pertaining to automotive servicingPreferred Experience :Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications
Knowledge of Mitchell Repair and All-DataKnowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experienceCertifications :SEMA certification preferred
Prefer TIA Automotive Tire Service (ATS) 200. Level 300 or 400 level a plus
