Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist :
Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees, ensuring accuracy in wages, deductions, benefits, and taxes.Reconcile timesheets, commissions, PTO balances, and retirement plan contributions to ensure proper payroll calculations.Prepare payroll journal entries and ensure proper coding for departments and timecards.Prepare and submit payroll-related filings, including tax reports, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.Generate payroll and 401(k) reports, providing insights on labor costs and retirement plan participation. Develop and maintain payroll and retirement plan policy manuals.Serve as the main point of contact for payroll inquiries, assisting employees with pay, tax, and retirement plan questions.Payroll Specialist Qualifications :
High school diploma is required. Bachelor's degree and / or FPC or CPP certification is a plus.Fluency in Spanish is required.Minimum of 4 years of payroll experience in a complex payroll environment.Subject matter expert in UKG WFM system (payroll, scheduling, reporting).#ZRCFS #INSEP2025 #LI-MG9
