CVOR Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Bethlehem, PA 18015 (Lehigh Valley healthcare jobs)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 10, 2025

Schedule Options : 3x12s, 4x10s, or 5x8s (Day shifts : 6 : 45am – 7 : 45pm, Monday–Friday)

On-Call : 1 night per week, up to 2 weekends per 13-week period

Hours per Week : 36

Employment Type : Local, On-Site

CVOR RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CVOR RN or cardiovascular operating room nurse

Scrub experience in complex cardiac cases required

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

CVOR Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting

Scrub and circulate for advanced cardiac surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols

Participate in scheduled on-call rotation

Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical interventions
