Overview

Title : Lead Systems Administrator

Location : Jackson, Mississippi

Duration : 3 to 4 years

Employment type : Contract

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain user accounts, groups, and security policies within Active Directory.
  • Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Configure and administer Azure AD, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings.
  • Plan and execute migrations from on-premise to cloud, and integrate various Office 365 services.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for both on-premise and cloud-based services.
  • Implement and maintain security configurations, ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
  • Experience with AWS for implementation / configuration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and routine administrative tasks.
  • Handle Active Directory replication, Sites & Services configuration, and FSMO role management.
  • Implementing and enforcing security policies to protect data, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), conditional access policies, and identity protection.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and industry regulations (e.g., IRS 1075), performing access reviews and audits, and implementing corrective actions to strengthen security controls.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and routine administrative tasks.
