EIT Certification or the ability to receive EIT certification within 6 months. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications. Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to work a regular schedule : 7 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM Monday–Thursday and 7 : 30 AM – 11 : 30 AM Friday. Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow, and complete tasks. Overview
Entry Level Civil Design Engineer in Training at Thomas & Hutton in Columbia, SC. The role involves preparing site development construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications for residential, commercial, and / or industrial projects. Experience using AutoCAD is required and experience using Civil 3D is preferred.
