Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $23.46 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with consideration for the unique needs of financial institution locations.

Carry out armed patrol duties in accordance with company procedures and applicable laws to support the protection of people and property.

Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the assigned location.

Assist visitors, employees, and / or clients with inquiries and provide guidance as needed while maintaining awareness of the surroundings.

Participate in emergency response activities and communicate with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities when necessary.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 5 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.

Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.

Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
