Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled healthcare professional with experience in nursing, particularly in Orthopedic Recovery Techniques (ORT), as well as expertise as a certified or non-certified Surgical Technician. This contract role requires precision, dedication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities :

Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms and equipment
Provide support to surgical teams during operations ensuring adherence to safety protocols

Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively and provide appropriate care
Maintain sterile fields and prevent contamination during procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical personnel to ensure quality patient outes

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

Experience in nursing with proficiency in Orthopedic Recovery Techniques (ORT)

Certification as a Surgical Technician is preferred but non-certified professionals with relevant experience will be considered
