The Los Angeles Times has an opening for a temporary multiplatform editor who can work on both the News and Sports copy desks. The News desk handles our National, Foreign, California, Business, Politics, Science and Opinion digital and print coverage, and our Sports desk handles all major and local sports and sports events. Extensive Sports knowledge and comfort handling Sports copy are a must.

The temporary, full-time position will include afternoon, night and weekend shifts and is expected to last three months. We will consider candidates who would work remotely in other time zones as well as those who would work in El Segundo, Calif.

The pay scale the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting is $42.56 to $52.92 and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licenses, certifications, and other business or organizational needs. Compensation will be determined based on the above factors along with the requirements of the position. At the L.A.
