At Copain, we bring together the comfort of a neighborhood café with the craft of a true boulangerie, now expanding into full-service dining at our new Ballantyne location. By day, guests will find hand-crafted pastries, naturally leavened breads, and artisan coffee, while in the evening the restaurant transforms into a polished dinner experience. Our approach to food is ingredient driven, seasonal, and rooted in honest cooking, designed to highlight quality and care in every dish.
We’re hiring a Server Assistant / Expo to help keep service running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support servers, run food, clear and reset tables, and take care of the details that make for a great guest experience. The position also offers room to grow into other roles within the restaurant for those interested in building a career in hospitality.
What You’ll Do
- Assist servers with all aspects of table maintenance, ensuring sections remain clean, stocked, and guest-ready.
- Run food to tables promptly and accurately, communicating clearly with servers and kitchen staff.
- Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guest, keeping pace with the flow of service.
- Anticipate guest needs, from water refills to table adjustments, always aiming to enhance the dining experience.
- Complete assigned sidework and station duties with consistency and accountability.
