Summary : Responsible for moving all pallets of finished products or component parts to the stretch wrapper, designated locations, or into the warehouse or fabrication departments.

Essential duties and responsibilities :

Supervisory responsibilities : None

Qualifications : Must know how to operate a forklift and have a forklift license.

Education and / or experience : High school diploma or equivalent.

Language skills : Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions.

Mathematical skills : Basic mathematical skills and counting ability required.

Reasoning ability : Must be able to pay close attention to detail, have general deductive reasoning skills to troubleshoot minor issues and knowledgeable of how and when to escalate. Must be able to work without close supervision.

Certificates, licenses, registrations : Must have forklift license.

Physical demands : Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds, bend, stoop, walk, carry, clean, drive and maintain. Will use gloves, fork truck, stretch wrap machine, and pallet jacks.

Work environment : General factory. Exposed to heat, cold, noise, dust, oil / grease, purge fumes, raw material and traveling powered industrial vehicles.
