My client is a respected Commercial General Contractor based in Columbus, OH, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial sector. Their portfolio includes office, retail, healthcare, mixed-use, and institutional builds. They are committed to building long-term relationships, ensuring quality, and maintaining the highest safety standards.

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through completion. The right candidate will take full ownership of project

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from start to finish
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and clients
  • Oversee project budgets, contracts, schedules, and change orders
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
  • Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to senior leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial construction project management with a general contractor
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, ideally $5M+ in value
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and best practices
  • Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
