Job Purpose
The Account Specialist will be responsible for all incoming orders from the investigative / quoting stage, order confirmation, order fulfillment, and delivery tracking. Works closely with the Sales Team of BG Masterworks and the respective Client for each project. Primary responsibility will be within the BG Masterworks division working with promotional materials and interior signage.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Adheres to company polices and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.
- Internal sales coordination and support for intercompany orders as well as BG Distributors from sales inquiry, quote, order processing and order fulfillment and tracking to delivery / customer satisfaction.
- Gain solid understanding of BG Masterworks products and services and be able to articulate to customers.
- Assist BG Automation and BG Precision divisions as needed with internal sales support / order processing.
- Work Order entry and management for all incoming orders – internal & external – including change order management.
- Order management in SAGE.
- Manage website inquiries, & phone calls to Department for Sales & Customer Service
- Update all opportunities, activities, and lead advancements in CRM system.
- Research new items including sourcing options, price comparisons, quality, lead times, and order quantities.
- Work with Sales Manager on estimating and quotes with the ability to take on this responsibility for routine items.
- Keeps Sales Manager, Project Manager, and Client informed of order status, any changes, and when order is complete.
- Manage apparel orders, inventory levels, and tracking.
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients by providing prompt responses including responding with information outside of traditional work hours.
- Implement customer satisfaction surveys, gather results, and permission to use targeted responses as testimonials. Harvest additional sales opportunities from current customer list for repeat orders and new item launches via social media, website features, newsletters, email campaigns, etc.
- Identify new up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support Sales Manager / Sales Engineer by keeping them informed of customer issues.
- Creating and maintaining charts, graphs, and reports of outstanding quotes, Win / Loss Bids, Sales results for monthly / quarterly updates.
- Practices and sustains ISO 9001 procedures and policies.
- Possible travel to local customers, suppliers, and targeted tradeshows / industry events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education – High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.Experience – Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com, Hubspot a plus.
