Commercial Flooring Project Manager / Estimator
We’re working with a leading commercial flooring contractor that’s known for its craftsmanship, reliability, and long-standing relationships across the construction industry. They’re looking to add a Commercial Flooring Project Manager / Estimator to their growing team — someone who can blend estimating accuracy with strong project management and customer service skills.
About the Role
As the Commercial Flooring Project Manager / Estimator , you’ll take ownership of projects from initial bid to closeout . You’ll prepare detailed estimates, manage subcontractors, oversee field execution, and serve as the main point of contact for clients and general contractors. This is a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec .
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed bids, takeoffs, and proposals for commercial flooring projects.
Manage multiple projects through estimating, scheduling, purchasing, and installation phases.
Review architectural plans and specifications to determine scope and pricing.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure job efficiency and quality.
Track project budgets, materials, and timelines to maintain profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, and clients.
Ideal Background
3+ years of experience in commercial flooring project management and / or estimating .
Working knowledge of flooring materials, adhesives, installation methods, and job sequencing .
Proficiency in RFMS, Callidus, or other industry estimating software .
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple active projects.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
