Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Channahon, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for regularly monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will contribute to a positive atmosphere. Pay Rate : $19.83 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns, keeping in mind the unique environment of a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support the overall security-related needs of the site.
  • Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and communicate any findings or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Remain alert to changing site conditions and adapt patrols and responses to meet the needs of a dynamic manufacturing and industrial environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
