Location :  Sunnyvale, CA. AND San Francisco - Candidates must be willing to work in both locations

Work Environment :  In-person

Expected Pay Amount :   $28 / hr

Schedule : Shifts :

Tues- Sat : AM

Tues - Sat : PM

Sun- Thurs : AM

Sun - Thurs PM

Assignment Length :  12-month rolling contract (no end date)

Commitment :   This is a full-time, ongoing contract position. It will be open to candidates local to the Bay Area and able to work onsite in both Mountain View and San Francisco, CA.

  • Candidates must have professional driving experience (Uber / Lyft driving OK) and be flexible to work driving shifts in both Mountain View, CA and San Francisco, CA

JHCareers is partnering with a leading technology company to advance the future of autonomous vehicle development. We are seeking Vehicle Operators - Data Collection to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting-edge driving technology.

As part of this program, you will operate test vehicles in real-world conditions, gathering crucial data that directly impacts innovation. Shifts are available Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday-Thursday! Candidates must be able to work onsite in both Mountain View and San Francisco.

What You’ll Do :

  • Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.
  • Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.
  • Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.
  • Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.

  • Basic vehicle knowledge with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods (4–8 hours per day)
  • No moving violations within the past 12 months, DUIs, or criminal record
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and strict safety guidelines
  • Ability to work onsite in both Mountain View and San Francisco.
