ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consults with each person receiving services and / or collaterals regarding treatment outcomes and course of treatment, at least semiannually either in person or via telehealth. Services will be primarily based out of Oneida location. May be required for travel to other satellite locations.
Electronically documents in each persons confidential electronic clinical record, all diagnostic assessment reports, individual plans of treatment and treatment notes regarding service being recommended and / or delivered. Participate in necessary follow up related to billing for services.
Review, update and complete treatment plans every six months electronically.
Works in conjunction with the Clinic Psychiatrist and will provide coverage for the Clinic Psychiatrist when necessary.
Work collaboratively with the Director of Clinic Services and Clinic staff in a joint endeavor to satisfactorily achieve the goals of the clinic.
Acts in the capacity of a professional practitioner of the healing arts to provide diagnostic, palliative, preventative or rehabilitation / habilitation services to persons admitted to the program, produces billable units of service.
Promotes services in accordance with generally acceptable community standards of professional practice and in conformance to the requirements of all applicable statutes and regulations.
Participate in team staff meetings, as assigned.
Contributes to the improvement of agency operations.
Maintains current NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license and provide relevant certifications and documentation to Human Resources and / or vendors for purposes of credentialing. Complete any forms for participation in insurance including, but not limited to, Medicare and New York State Medicaid. Promptly notifies agency of any lapse, suspension, revocation, expiration or disciplinary action related to licensure or certifications.
Reports all unforeseen incidents in a timely manner (as such occur) to the Director of Clinic Services.
Perform all other job related duties as assigned.
Travels to various sites in the community to provide services.
Maintains confidentiality of all persons served and contributes to the improvement of agency operations.
Acts in accordance with all internal policies, procedures and the Agency Corporate Compliance Policy. Reports suspected or actual violations thereof to appropriate party(s).
Maintains professional decorum at all times.
Pay is typically between $75-85 / hr
