Summary

Newly created Supervisor, Freight Forwarding role in Plano, TX. Responsible for overseeing daily operations in international freight forwarding (air, ocean, rail, and drayage) and managing two senior specialists. Ideal for candidates with strong leadership skills, hands-on Cargowise experience, and a background in international export operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support freight forwarding specialists to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
• Oversee end-to-end handling of international shipments across all modes of transport.
• Resolve escalated logistics issues and ensure excellent customer service.
• Review and approve freight rates, billing, and documentation accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal SOPs.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to achieve department goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
