Ratios : 1 : 6

Floating : Yes, to units of equal or lesser acuity

Block Scheduling : Considered on a case-by-case basis

Certifications : AHA BLS and NIHSS required

Unit Details :

35-bed unit

Epic experience required within the last 6 months

Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic patient population

Telemetry monitored in a centralized unit

Free-floating charge nurse

Support staff includes Patient Care Technicians and Patient Transporters

House discharge nurse available across departments

Local Radius Rule : Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (locals within 50 miles not eligible)
