Overview :
The Lifecycle, Email & Design Marketing Manager will lead HBH’s lifecycle, email, design, and social media marketing initiatives—owning strategy, creative execution, and performance across multiple brands. This role blends creativity with analytics to craft visually compelling campaigns that connect with our grower audience, enhance retention, and drive revenue.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, merchandising, and creative teams to design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives, support sales initiatives, and engage customers throughout the journey.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role ideal for a creative, design-savvy, and data-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Email & Lifecycle Marketing
- Plan, design, and execute email and lifecycle campaigns from concept through post-analysis.
- Develop creative layouts, visuals, and graphics that reflect brand identity and engage subscribers.
- Build and optimize automated flows (welcome, onboarding, post-purchase, win-back, loyalty).
- Develop engaging copy, subject lines, and CTAs that drive measurable results.
- Maintain templates, creative assets, and segmentation strategies within Klaviyo.
- Monitor deliverability, list hygiene, and performance to ensure strong engagement and inbox placement.
Design & Creative Development
Own the visual design process for email, digital, and social campaigns—ensuring cohesive branding and a consistent visual language.Collaborate with internal teams to create digital assets including graphics, banners, templates, and visual content for web and social channels.Translate complex ideas into visually engaging materials that communicate clearly and inspire action.Maintain brand style guides, ensuring all assets meet brand and accessibility standards.Work with external vendors or freelancers when necessary to support design needs and maintain creative quality.Partner with photography, content, and product teams to incorporate imagery and brand storytelling into campaign designs.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with sales and operations to create campaigns that support product launches, sales goals, and regional initiatives.Work with merchandising and product teams to highlight seasonal promotions and educational content that resonate with customers.Collaborate with SEO, SEM, and advertising partners to ensure cohesive cross-channel messaging and design alignment.Social Media & Content Marketing
Oversee social media strategy and creative direction across HBH brands (Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok).Design social graphics, promotional content, and animations to support campaigns and storytelling.Align social content with email and lifecycle initiatives to amplify reach and engagement.Support creation of educational and promotional content to grow brand awareness and engagement.Analytics & Optimization
Track and analyze campaign performance metrics including open rates, CTR, conversion, and ROI.Use Google Analytics 4, Power BI, or equivalent tools to identify trends and opportunities.Turn insights into actionable strategies that enhance engagement, design effectiveness, and revenue impact.Present performance updates and creative recommendations to marketing leadership.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
Design Performance : Engagement metrics tied to visual content (CTR, dwell time, and conversion from designed assets).Email Campaign Performance : Open rate, click-through rate (CTR), and click-to-open rate (CTOR) improvements.Conversion & Revenue Impact : Email-to-purchase conversion rate, revenue per send, and total email-driven revenue.Automation & Lifecycle Success : Performance of automated flows (welcome, post-purchase, win-back, reactivation, loyalty).Customer Retention & Loyalty : Growth in repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value (LTV), and subscriber retention.List Health & Growth : List growth rate, deliverability, bounce rate, and unsubscribe rate.Cross-Functional Alignment : Percentage of campaigns tied to sales objectives and timely delivery of collaborative projects.Campaign ROI & Creative Efficiency : ROI improvements and project turnaround time for design and campaign production.Testing & Optimization : Frequency and success rate of A / B tests (creative, layout, subject lines).Analytics & Reporting Accuracy : Timely reporting of creative and performance data.Qualifications
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in email, lifecycle, or digital marketing; experience with visual or graphic design preferred.Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma) and familiarity with brand design systems.Proven success developing and executing data-driven and visually engaging campaigns.Advanced knowledge of Klaviyo or similar ESP (flows, A / B testing, segmentation, deliverability).Strong collaboration skills—able to partner effectively with sales, operations, and product teams to align marketing and design goals.Excellent copywriting and design sense with a keen eye for layout, typography, and storytelling.Proficiency in campaign analytics and performance tools (Google Analytics 4, Power BI, or equivalent).Familiarity with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms preferred.Highly organized, resourceful, and adaptable; comfortable managing multiple brands and priorities.In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the employee may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by management.
