We’re looking for a data-driven professional to transform clinical and operational information into actionable insights that improve patient care, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This role partners closely with clinicians, IT teams, and administrators to support data-informed decision-making across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Examine and interpret clinical and operational datasets to guide strategic and operational decisions.
- Build interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or R.
- Detect patterns, trends, and opportunities in healthcare data to enhance outcomes and efficiency.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts by evaluating clinical performance metrics against benchmarks.
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to regulations like HIPAA, HEDIS, and CMS standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data-driven solutions for healthcare challenges.
- Support predictive analytics and risk stratification initiatives to advance patient care.
- Document analyses, insights, and recommendations clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Keep up with innovations, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare analytics.
- Provide excellent support to colleagues and contribute to a culture of collaboration.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Databricks or Snowflake experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, data science, or a similar discipline.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience analyzing clinical or healthcare information.
- Familiar with electronic health records, claims datasets, or healthcare quality reporting processes.
- Understanding of medical coding and data standards such as ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, and HL7.
- Exposure to predictive modeling, machine learning, or healthcare analytics is a plus.
