Description :

Travel position for CST in the operating room.

Shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekends.

The unit consists of 23 beds and over 85 staff members.

The staffing structure includes charge nurses, coordinators, nurse managers, transport, RN, CST, and OR assistants on day shifts.

Night shifts include charge nurses, 2 RNs, 2 CSTs, anesthesia technicians, and OR assistants.

Patient ratios are set at 1 : 1.

Equipment used includes EMR and Meditech systems.

Typical procedures include neuro and spine surgeries, orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements, revisions, robotics (gyn, colorectal, thoracic, urology), plastics, and trauma cases.

The department operates 24 / 7, requiring call and offering 10 and 12-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates should possess the required skills and certifications for consideration.
