Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, and ICU settings for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
Work in an interventional radiology department with adult outpatient, inpatient, and ICU patient populationsResponsibilities include procedures such as biopsies, stent placement, angioplasties, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, vascular and neuro studies, and venous accessUtilize equipment including PACS, C-Arm, injector systems (preferably ACIST), pushable / detachable coils, microcatheters, microwires, and snare kitsEpic EMR experience is required4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMAssigned an average of 10 on-call days per month, including weekend coverageFloating is not requiredCandidates must live more than 70 miles from the facilityScrubs are provided and clinicians must adhere to provided scrub color requirementsOnsite parking is available at no costAll clinicians are required to complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to starting and must be clean-shaven for FIT testingPre-start training modules are required and completed before the assignment beginsCandidates who have worked as a traveler at this facility must take a 6-month break before returningFirst-time travelers are accepted for considerationRequirements
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settingsCurrent ARRT and BLS certifications are requiredProficiency in procedures involving stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, and neuro studiesExperience with PACS, C-Arm, microcatheters, microwires, and injector systems requiredEpic EMR experience is requiredMust be able to use and deploy pushable / detachable coils, microcatheters, microwires, snare kits, and injector systemsPending license may be accepted at manager's discretionRTO must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation subject to manager approvalLicense required if applicableBenefits
