Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or compact state

At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Permanent address must be at least 50+ miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress in the ICU setting

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and operate critical care equipment

Respond to medical emergencies and deliver life-saving interventions as needed

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical procedures
