The Role

Archive invites curious, compassionate, and reflective therapists with experience in a psychodynamic approachJungian, psychoanalytic, or similar to join our growing practice.

We seek to bring together therapists from traditions within the psychodynamic framework, such as analytical psychology and relational psychoanalysis, as well as adjacent approaches like humanism and art therapy. We are passionate about weaving the humanities into our professional development in order to bring the wisdom of these texts alive in our own lives and our practice is guided by the Psychodynamic Diagnostic Manual. Archive works in 23 clinics in manufacturing sites across the US, and 24 in Mexico and we are growing. Our services are paid for by the manufacturer and offered at no cost to the employees, allowing for our therapists to care for private pay clients and factory workers, often in rural areas, who are not common recipients of therapy. Archive believes offering good therapy fosters psychological growth, which is key to ethical maturity. By cultivating self-awareness, responsibility, and wisdom in relationships, we can develop better leaders and create a wiser, flourishing society.

Responsibilities :

Provide psychodynamic therapy to patients.

Bring clients into the organization, as well as new private-pay clients and clients from onsite clinics.

Conduct thorough assessment, refer patients as appropriate, and coordinate care with other providers, including Archive's medical team.

Maintain detailed and accurate accurate records.

Participate in Archive's case consultation to deepen your therapeutic practice.

Be a part of a culture of growth, where you'll continue to learn and develop in your field.

Engage in Archive's in-house humanities course where we read and discuss books like Dante's Inferno, The Epic of Gilgamesh or The Death of Ivan Ilych.

Assist with outreach to therapists or other individuals, and with therapy-related recruiting.

With the other therapists, represent the practice in professional circles, e.g. at conferences, events, and seminars, etc.

Collaborate with the therapy team to expand Archive's therapy offerings, such as psychodynamic testing, bibliotherapy, and genealogical research.

For therapists licensed as supervisors and who are interested, provide clinical supervision to associate therapists, ensuring adherence to ethical standards while fostering a culture of growth and dialogue.

For those therapists interested in education, partner with our education team to design meaningful learning experiences for therapists and healthcare providers.

Who You Are :

Active and unrestricted license to practice as a therapist in your state.

Bachelors, Masters, PsyD, PhD in a related field.

Training or certificates of study in the psychodynamic field.

Interested in Psychodynamic therapy and joining a community.

Bilingual in Spanish and English (not essential but nice to have).

Interest or educational background in the humanities.
