Job Title : Principal Software Control Engineer Working Pattern : Full-time Working location : Novi, MI or Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid and / or Remote potential) Rolls-Royce is looking for a Principal Software Control Engineer to join our growing team. In our team as a Principal Control Software Engineer, you will develop, write, test and document embedded code for safety critical electronic engine control and monitoring systems. You may be involved at any stage of a project lifecycle from concept development, integrated / component testing through final production release. • Collaborate with other teams and customers to develop safety-critical software on programs utilizing model-based and code-centric software design
• Work with a cross-functional team to establish the highest standards of technical capability, quality, professionalism, and teamwork
• Develop high integrity control systems for gas turbine engine applications
• Prepare and review engineering work products supporting internal and external stakeholder reviews
• Liaison with certification airworthiness authorities to explain approaches, demonstrate compliance to objectives, and close out audit findings
• Resolve complex problems through the application of acquired technical experience and knowledge
• Develop and communicate complex technical ideas and information in a concise and logical way

Novi salary range $121,523 - 197,475 / Indianapolis salary range $113,179-$183,916-Annually
