About The Position

📍 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Concord, California . This is a full-time (40 hours per week) contract opportunity open to both travel nurses and local RNs . The ideal candidate will bring strong psychiatric nursing experience and utilization management skills. The role requires every other weekend coverage as needed .

Job Requirements

✅ Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Current, unencumbered California RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years recent psychiatric nursing experience
  • Experience with utilization management in a psychiatric / behavioral health setting
  • Ability to work every other weekend

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel nursing experience (for travel candidates)
  • EPIC EMR experience

  • $2500 per week-travel rate beyond 50 miles from location
  • $2000 per week if less than 50 miles from location
  • Weekly pay
  • Full-time schedule ( 40 hours / week )
  • Travel support for qualifying candidates
  • Local candidates also welcome with same competitive weekly rate

  • Day Shift 8-4 : 30
  • Schedule : 40 hours / week , with every other weekend as needed
