Pay rate : $110 / hr.- $120 / hr. on w2

Duration : 6 months to Long term

Shift : 08 : 00am-04 : 00pm (M-F)

Hours / week : 40 Hours / week

Summary :

Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services to the male population at this facility. Full-time services will also include spending day / week at the male institution across the street. Schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Assignment may last at least 6 months and eventually lead to permanent hire if there is mutual good fit.

Job Description :

Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system

Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing

Managing medication

Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated

Making referrals for specialized care or treatment

Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards

Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews

Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed

Caseload : Up to 2.5 patients / hour

Required :

BLS / CPR certification

Drug Enforcement Administration certification.

American Board certification

Ohio Medical License
