Description :

The primary purpose of the Foreman is to be responsible for supervising crews on a construction project, from start to finish, including personnel, prioritizing work, quality and customer requirements.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities :

• Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
• Directing personnel from start to finish on project and prioritizing work.
• Read and follow plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
• Enforces all company safety policies and procedures and conducts regular tailgate safety meetings / toolbox talks and enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Mark up as-built drawings daily.
• Submits crewmembers’ timesheets to payroll by deadline.
• Fulfills all regular and advanced installation / construction duties, including project layout.
• Call for code-enforcement inspections.
• Completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Respond to respond to incidents and complete all necessary documentation timely.
• Attends operations meetings as required.
• Expedite tools, equipment, and materials to ensure that workers stay in the work area.
• Provide installation instruction to the workers by detailed verbal explanation or detailed sketches.
• Perform duties as instructed by supervisor.
