At Timken’s Aurora Bearing facility, the parts you move and the accuracy you deliver help keep essential machinery operating—across industries as iconic as NASCAR and as ambitious as NASA. We’ll teach you the craft, invest in your development, and recognize your impact. Compensation starts at $17.50–$19.00 per hour based on experience.

Mission

Ensure materials are packaged, documented, transported, and counted with exceptional care so production runs smoothly and safely.

Impact you’ll make

  • Prepare, package, and label components to exact standards for safe handling and traceability.
  • Coordinate drop-offs to local vendors; receive, unload, and store incoming materials efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts, trucks, and power pallet lifters to move materials where and when they’re needed.
  • Load and unload vehicles using approved equipment and practices.
  • Maintain accurate stock through periodic cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Complete production forms neatly and accurately; interpret routing and work instructions.
  • Support adjacent operations near sawing, turning, and grinding equipment.

What sets you up for success

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and shop math capability
  • Dependable execution of written and verbal instructions
  • Clear communication with peers, suppliers, and plant leadership
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Experience profile

  • Packaging know-how
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Tools and environment

  • Forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles; work adjacent to sawing, turning, and grinding machinery
  • Work hours

    Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. – 3 : 30 p.m.
