Purpose : The Staffing Coordinator develops and maintains the schedules of the Hospice Aides and Continuous Care staff in accordance with census and patient need. The person in this position will also coordinate overall activity and recommend counseling when appropriate.

Job Description :

Scheduling & Staffing

• Develop, distribute, and maintain daily schedules for Aides and Continuous Care staff in accordance with patient census.
• Accurately record all schedules in the EMR and Excel tracking systems.
• Collaborate with RN Case Managers to ensure appropriate staff placement for patient care needs.
• Create schedules that maximize staff utilization, minimize overtime, and reduce reliance on outside agencies.
• Promptly communicate schedule updates to patients, families, facilities, RN Case Managers, Regional Managers, and Tablet Support.
