The position is remote and project-based, with a backlog of videos ready for editing and the potential for future assignments. Familiarity with music notation and educational content is essential, as previous editors have struggled without this expertise.

Responsibilities :

Edit video lessons and course materials for clarity, pacing, and engagement
Sync video with music notation and on-screen elements as needed
Ensure final videos are polished and ready for upload to YouTube and course platforms
Collaborate with the content creator to understand project requirements and feedback
Meet deadlines for each assigned video project

Requirements

Proven experience in video editing, preferably for educational or music-related content

Ability to read music and understand music education concepts

Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
