Cathlab Tech (per diem) Days

Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist Per Diem (Days or Nights)

Location : Shasta Regional Medical Center California

Position Summary :

Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our per diem pool . The Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring safe and efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

Scrub, circulate, or monitor hemodynamic data during cardiac and vascular interventions.

Ensure procedure rooms are adequately prepared, stocked, and sanitized before and after each case.

Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems per protocol.

Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment use in the EMR.

Maintain adherence to sterile technique and radiation safety standards.

Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency cases when assigned.

Qualifications :

ARRT (R) certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) required.

Valid California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT) required.

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology setting.

Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR preferred.

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Shift Details :

Schedule : Per Diem (Day and Night shifts available)

Typical Shifts :

Days : 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM

Nights : 7 : 00 PM 7 : 30 AM

On-call rotation may be required depending on department needs.
