This facility is a Level 1 trauma center with 365 beds, providing comprehensive medical services to the community. The medical center offers advanced technology and equipment in a fast-paced environment with supportive staff and administration.

Job Details :
- Must be comfortable taking urology emergency room on-call in a trauma center environment
- Handle 2-3 patient encounters per shift in a Level 1 trauma facility
- Must have valid California medical license with clean medical malpractice history
- Ability to cover stretches of 7 days or more
- Proficiency in managing a variety of procedural needs in a fast-paced environment
- Robotically trained urologists are preferred
- Experience with general urology for adult, pediatric, and neonate patients
- Skills in advanced endoscopic techniques and laparoscopic surgeries
- Experience with percutaneous nephrolithotomy and ureteroscopy
- Ability to perform radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit
- Experience with radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and pelvic node dissection
- Robotic surgery experience including partial nephrectomies / intraoperative ultrasound
- Skills in adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy
- Experience with TRUS biopsies and fertility work-up
- Ability to perform incontinence procedures and penile prosthesis implantation
- Experience with Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
- Estimated credentialing timeframe : 60 days
- PALS certification required
